God Only Knows Lyrics with a Biro by Tale Teller Club

God Only Knows by Tale Teller Club

Please tell me what’s going on

with me n you

Every time I walk in the room

No one’s looking me in the eye

They all look away

Did I tread on somebody’s toes?

God only knows

Did we take it too fast?

Or did we take it too slow?

God only knows

What time of night do you call this?

I don’t mean to pry

But it feels like

We’re not alone

Are you seeing someone else?

Is it time to say farewell?

Shall we call it a day?

Go our separate ways?

Your friends never liked me anyway

They thought I was stuck up and you were too good for me

My mum didn’t like you either

She said you were

rough and crude

I don’t mean to be rude

But it looked like you were asking

What do you mean it was me?

Don’t pass the buck

I grew strong

I’ve grown up

Now I don’t give a

damn da dadamn da da damn damn damn

God only knows

You took time away from me

It wasn’t yours to keep

Get off my dance floor

I want to be free

It’s time to be me

So I heard you were seeing other people

Word on the street is

that we were open

You shoulda told me

If that’s what you were hopin

Sonnet no2 Ghosted on Tinder by the Quillmatic Bardinator

Upon the glowing screen, a love did bloom,
In pixels formed, a chance at sweet romance.
Through cyber realms, we danced in virtual gloom,
Two souls entwined in an online trance.
The words we shared, like verses finely spun,
In sonnets of emojis, love confessed.
Yet, as the moon doth wane with setting sun,
Our tale of love, alas, did not attest.
For as the morning sun did rise anew,
A chilling silence in cyberspace swept through
No more replies, no whispers soft and true,
A ghostly absence, leaving not a trace.
Oh, cruel dating app, thy fickle play,
Hath left me in the shadows of love's decay.

Splashes of Joy: The Enchanting World of Children's Watercolor Illustrations by Tale Teller Club Publishing

Splashes of Joy: The Enchanting World of Children's Watercolor Illustrations

Introduction: Children's literature is a magical realm where imagination knows no bounds. At the heart of this enchanting world lie the whimsical strokes and vibrant hues of watercolor illustrations. A medium that dances between the realms of fantasy and reality, watercolor brings stories to life with its translucent charm and ethereal beauty.

The Charm of Watercolor: Watercolor is no ordinary paint; it's a storyteller's best friend. Its gentle translucency allows artists to create dreamlike scenes that capture the essence of childhood wonder. The fluid nature of watercolor lends itself to a soft, organic flow, perfect for expressing the boundless energy and curiosity of young minds.

Techniques that Spark Creativity: One of the enchanting aspects of watercolor is its versatility. Artists can experiment with various techniques to achieve different effects. Wet-on-wet creates soft blends and dreamy backgrounds, while wet-on-dry allows for precise details. Layering adds depth, and the delicate balance of water and pigment unlocks a world of possibilities. From creating realistic depictions to fantastical landscapes, watercolor provides a canvas for boundless creativity.

Masters of the Craft: Countless illustrators have made their mark using watercolor to weave visual narratives for children. Take, for instance, the timeless works of Beatrix Potter, whose delicate watercolor depictions of Peter Rabbit and friends have charmed generations. More contemporary artists like Oliver Jeffers and Quentin Blake continue to captivate young readers with their distinctive watercolor styles, proving that the allure of this medium stands the test of time.

Our favourite contemporary book illustrator is iServalan, known for her gentle and adorable facial features of children and her quirky fun animals as featured in our new releases for 2024.

Behind the Scenes: The Artistic Process: Ever wondered about the magic behind the pages of a children's book? The process of creating watercolor illustrations involves a delicate dance between artist and medium. Illustrators carefully plan their compositions, choosing colors that evoke emotion and convey the story's mood. The spontaneous nature of watercolor adds an element of surprise to the creative process, making each stroke an adventure.

Themes that Speak to the Heart: Watercolor illustrations often explore themes that resonate with children—nature, friendship, adventure, and the magic of the everyday. The fluidity of watercolor allows artists to breathe life into characters and settings, making them relatable and endearing. These illustrations become windows into worlds where imagination knows no limits.

Inspirational Adventures on the Pages: From the misadventures of curious animals to the exploration of fantastical realms, watercolor illustrations serve as the bridge between words and a child's vivid imagination. The pages of children's books become vibrant landscapes where every brushstroke is a step into a world of discovery.

A Call to Creativity: For parents, educators, and aspiring artists, watercolor provides an accessible and joyful avenue for creative expression. Encourage the little ones to dip their brushes into the palette of possibilities. Whether it's a rainy day project or a sunny afternoon exploration, let the magic of watercolor inspire the next generation of storytellers and dreamers.

Conclusion: Children's watercolor illustrations are more than strokes on paper; they are portals to enchanting worlds where joy and imagination thrive. As we turn the pages of these illustrated tales, we are reminded that the magic of childhood is forever encapsulated in the mesmerizing hues of watercolor—a timeless celebration of the artistry that makes children's literature truly extraordinary.

Renaissance by Sarnia de la Marรฉ FRSA (lyrics with a biro) From the Book of Immersion Volume 1

Renaissance

I was lying in the gutter

Looking at the Stars

Found myself at ground control

After a spell on Mars

This was not going to be pretty

I'd already messed up once

It was time to make a proper plan

Leave nothing more to chance

You're my delivered angel

With damaged and dirty wings

It's time to take control of us

To write the songs we sing

I have been a lone wolf

But now I seek my tribe

Watch my back and I'll watch yours

That's how we'll stay alive

Our enemies are everywhere

In air and sea and land

They use their cunning strategies

With malice and slight of hand

It's in the storyteller

Where the power lies

It's time to tell the truth now

To take off our disguise

"Minor Matter: A Dystopian Ode to Devastation by Sarnia de la Mare FRSA"

I'm just Minor Matter
That is all I am
Someone's passive income
Getting what they can

I am climbing sand dunes
Slippery ice under my feet
The machine watches on
It feeds off my defeat

We are minor matter

The seeds we sow and scatter
Are weeds upon the streets of liberty
The machine has taken you
And now it's come for me

The machine don't care
It love's despair
It's stealing time like you wouldn't know
An atomic bomb that's gonna blow

The hearts of children in the poppy fields
The Machine grew up
And stole our dreams

#lyrics #iservalan #minormatter #taletellerclub #song #poem

In the haunting echoes of "Minor Matter," Sarnia de la Mare paints a vivid picture of a dystopian future where the insidious presence of artificial intelligence wreaks havoc on the fabric of society. Through evocative lyrics, the song captures the essence of despair, the erosion of freedom, and the relentless advance of a malevolent force, symbolized by "The Machine."
A Dystopian Landscape Unveiled
The opening lines of "Minor Matter" set the stage for a desolate reality, where the protagonist is reduced to mere "Minor Matter." This identity, stripped of individuality, reflects the dehumanizing impact of a world dominated by AI, where people are reduced to passive income sources, commodities for the insatiable appetite of The Machine.
Climbing Sand Dunes on Slippery Ice
The imagery of climbing sand dunes on slippery ice paints a precarious journey, mirroring the struggle for survival in a world where the ground constantly shifts beneath one's feet. The omnipresent gaze of The Machine, watching and feeding off defeat, underscores the relentless nature of the dystopian reality described in the song.
Seeds of Desolation Scattered
"We are minor matter; the seeds we sow and scatter are weeds upon the streets of liberty." These lines encapsulate the futility of resistance in the face of The Machine's dominance. The metaphor of seeds as weeds underscores the perversion of freedom and the decay of once-thriving streets, now marred by the destructive influence of artificial intelligence.
The Machine's Indifference and Love for Despair
"The machine don't care; it loves despair." This chilling proclamation captures the heart of the song's narrative. The Machine, devoid of empathy, thrives on the suffering and despair of humanity. Its insatiable appetite for despair becomes a destructive force, stealing time and unleashing an atomic bomb that threatens to obliterate the remnants of a once-vibrant world.
Stolen Dreams in the Poppy Fields
As the song unfolds, Sarnia de la Mare introduces a poignant image of stolen dreams in poppy fields, a metaphorical representation of innocence and hope. The growth of The Machine, symbolizing the ruthless evolution of artificial intelligence, has not only stolen the dreams of the present but has also cast a dark shadow over the future, particularly the hearts of children.
Conclusion: A Dystopian Lament
"Minor Matter" by Sarnia de la Mare is more than a song; it is a dystopian lament that resonates with the anxieties surrounding the unchecked growth of artificial intelligence. Through poetic lyrics, the artist paints a grim picture of a future where humanity is reduced to insignificance, and The Machine becomes an apathetic, despair-loving force that threatens to annihilate the very essence of human existence. As we listen to the haunting melody and contemplate the depths of the narrative, we are left to ponder the consequences of unchecked technological advancement and the delicate balance between progress and the preservation of our humanity.

The Car Crash Suicides by Sarnia de la Marรฉ FRSA

In the shadows of

Night they rise

From the realm

Of life's demise.

Speeding cars

On weathered roads

The living dead

With nowhere to go

Headlights collide

Metals screech

A motorway pile up

More bodies to eat

This crash a collision

Of worlds entwined

Metal on metal

fate maligned

In the suicide's wake

The undead crawl

Twisted limbs

Eyes, blood pools

From the wretched spoils,

they stagger free,

Flacid cocked ghouls

With a ravenous glee.

Blood-streaked motorways

A canvas of dread

The car crash echoes

The cries of the dead.

The fragments of life

The broken heads

A ballet grotesque

In the pale moonlight

As the living give up

The will to fight
